Over 16 years ago I developed my own method of teaching improvisation that changed everything for me.I was looking for a better way to teach my students so they could learn faster and so that I could teach them to improvise in order to make it more fun and creative so they could play with other musicians.

I came up with a method which turned out to be genius. It taught me that my students were being held back by the fact that I wasn’t teaching them to trust their ear. I was doing what most conventional teachers do which was to fill their heads with a lot of reading and learning scales and patterns, reading transcriptions and a lot of unnecessary information that made it impossible for them to make music with it.

Once I started to teach this new way I was able to literally teach a complete beginner to improvise in under 4 months. And I’m not talking about just playing the blues scale, I'm talking about teaching them to hit every chord change. 

If you’ve ever taken any lessons in improvisation and felt like you still had no idea of how to play without getting lost in the form and to play the changes then you will love what I do in my course.
